No personal devices at school
I strongly believe that we should not have devices at school!
Bringing a device to school is not a good idea as it might get lost or stolen. Your phone or iPad can have lots of messages on them. That can mean that you will got distracted when you are working. In class you might have games on your iPad and you can play on it. Then you can found out and you can get suspended or you can lose your device. It also takes away your learning. Then your parents might ask for your phone and you have nothing to say that will have consequences and you get upset. Or when your parent says you can play on the iPad your sibling can play but you can not play because your teacher took your iPad.
These messages might include bad language or mean comments. That can make you very upset and that might affect your day. You can get bullied. That is called cyber bulling. Then you get bored and got nothing to do. That might be riding your bike if you have one. You might need the device at home but you do not have I it there because your teacher took it. You might have a game that your friend played and you want to play I you can not because you do not have it. Another reason is that you might think about your device.
You also can get viruses and that in not going to get you very good for you. You might feel bad about it and you could get up set and then you can have nightmare and you might not want to use the device even when you need it. That might be more of them. Then you can get so nervous then you might never want to use it.
